Fibera, Inc. designs and manufactures wavelength management fiber optic products such as laser wavelength lockers for discrete or integrated platforms, frequency stabilization circuits, ITU filters / references and packaged Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) based sensors. It increases denser transmission channels to the telecommunications and sensing industries through its advanced athermal frequency stabilization technology, which leads to low cost without performance tradeoffs. Since the company's founding in Spring 2001, Fibera has successfully developed a series of products in the wavelength management family with channel spacings at 100GHz, 50GHz and 25GHz. These wavelength lockers, ITU filters / references and athermal FBG based wavelength references are extremely stable as demonstrated by improved central wavelength accuracy and by ease of operation. In addition to the telecommunications market, Fibera provides key wavelength management and detection parts such as wavelength references, packaged FBG temperature and strain sensors, control circuit to the instrumentation and structural monitor market.

Fibera has a stringent training program for manufacturing personnel. This program enables manufacturing personnel to be trained in a short period of time with the right skills. Retraining is conducted regularly and is a part of performance evaluation.
